"The Turning Point!" Maximum Carnage Part 9 of 14. Guest-starring Cloak and Firestar. Story continues from Spider-Man 36. To the utter shock and dismay of Spider-Man and his friends, Reed Richards' sonic gun has no effect on Carnage! The weapon (that the good guys were counting on) has failed to stop the serial killer! And now in the woods, the next savage battle erupts! The web-slinger, Black Cat, Cloak, Firestar, Morbius, and Venom vs. Carnage, Shriek, Carrion, the Demogoblin, and the doppelganger! But the momentum has shifted to the side of evil. Cloak is the first to fall and then Felicia. After Morbius goes down, the only option left…kill Carnage with Firestar's flame blasts! If this strategy fails as well, then the chances of victory are between slim and none. And Carnage already killed slim several issues ago! Story continues in Web of Spider-Man 103. Cameo appearance by Captain America. 32 pages Cover price $1.25.
